Brattleboro Youth Soccer Association

Short History

Our Mission

To provide the highest level soccer experience for our children in a fun and nurturing environment that balances participation, competition, and fun of play.

History

Located in Brattleboro Vermont, Brattleboro Youth Soccer Association (BYSA) is a leader in competitive soccer training and development for kids in the U9 (as young as 7 years old) thru High School age groups, in Windham County and surrounding areas (Bennington County, VT; Cheshire County, NH; and Franklin County, MA).

Started in the early 1990s, BYSA has been providing proven training for soccer-loving kids using volunteer parent coaches. Likewise, the club is run by a volunteer board of parents, coaches, and soccer enthusiasts. Our goals include the creation of a respectful, positive, and healthy soccer learning environment for the kids participating in our programs. BYSA Brattleboro teams competed in the Spring and Fall in the Roots Soccer League in Massachusettes; Winter sessions at Indoor Action Sports in Bernardston, MA; and offers a mini-camp in the Spring and a bigger Summer Camp in July. We also participate in a number of tournaments during the Spring and Fall seasons. Our program listing can be found on the Program page.

Brattleboro Storm teams have had a successful record over the years, a testament to the care and preparation we put into our coaching and program offerings.
