Round 3 Game Summaries

U8: At the start of today's game I  told the girls I had two things for them focus on.
1) Working as hard as they could every time they were on the field
2) Being a good teammate
I am so incredibly proud of the effort that each and every player put in today! They were so exciting to watch.  They were great teammates to each other, encouraging and understanding. They worked together today as a team and it showed.
It is amazing that the score WAS very different today than just 2 weeks ago. I am excited to see where they will be in another 2 weeks.  They will figure out the buildout line!!! And they will SCORE a goal!

U10:

No game, bye week

U12:

The U12 Storm continued their unbeaten streak with a win over Easthampton. A number of goals came from well placed crosses to just outside the goal mouth with our mid-fielders and forwards showing relentless pressure and able to poke them past the keeper. One Storm goal came from a penalty kick due to a handball in the box, which was calmly put into the back of the net. With another great performance from our defense our keeper was only tested a few times but was able to confidently control everything that entered the penalty area. With an 8-0 lead going into the second half we were able to move some players into different positions that showed the depth and flexibility of this squad. The Storm defense remained unstoppable in the second half, and we added another two goals for a 10-0 final score.

U14-Boys:
Division 1 continues to be a challenge for our traveling club with losses coming from Ludlow 7 to 1 on Saturday; Then Monday evening against Longmeadow 5 to 3. With a mindset of no quit or score a goal we band together to keep Longmeadow from running away with a rout. Continuing to play without our full squad gives us hope for the remaining season. The team is working hard at practice to improve their skills and team-building.
U14-Girls:
The U14 Girls registered their first win of the season, defeating Wilbraham 3-1.
